About

Life is a journey. We have our dreams, goals, and needs. It can, indeed, be beautiful and rewarding, but the reality is that during our journey we all deal with challenges, sorrow, and experience emotional stumbling blocks. Negative childhood, family, and/or social relationships may be impeding our ability to enjoy life. We can find ourselves "stuck", anxious, frustrated, and/or depressed. The therapeutic process can be a helpful "shortcut" to finding solutions and ways to deal with distressing emotions. I believe I have the training and experience, both professional and life- acquired, to assist you in understanding yourself and feeling better. While I practice "talk" therapy, I also follow a Rational Emotive Behavioral (REBT) format. My assistance helps to empower clients with tools to reshape their thinking, emotions, and behavior. Therapy can be a "freeing" experience. It can be a time for growth and rejuvenation. It can be a time to share pain and be empowered to deal with future stressors more effectively.
